Is Now a Good Time to Talk?

I was talking with a highly experienced salesperson and she shared her biggest hack to get people to talk, start by asking:
“Is now a good time to chat, or if there is a better time I could call back?”
We’ve all had it happen when someone catches you at the wrong moment, even if you do make time for them you are in the wrong headspace for a productive conversation.
This simple, humanizing courtesy to our users was important enough that we trained our Conversational AI to do the same. As you might guess, being polite has the added benefit of more people wanting to talk with you, and being more engaged when they do.
In summary, be polite and you’ll increase user adoption and data quality!
